Terms & Conditions

Lessons:

Weekly lessons take place during school term time in my home unless an alternative venue is agreed. 

We will agree together a weekly time slot for your lesson.

If you are late for your lesson you forfeit that time, so please do not be late.

I will supply you with your teaching books, for which you will reimburse me.

Thirty minute lessons are suitable for beginners especially.  As you progress 45 minute lessons are available if you choose. 

Paying for your lessons

All 30 minute lessons for any age and ability are £12.50.

All 45 minute lessons are £18.00.

We will agree together how you would like to pay.

Lessons can be paid for in advance at the beginning of each half term i.e. six lessons.  

Alternatively you may prefer to pay weekly.

Payment can be made either in cash or by cheque.

If you pay weekly and have cancelled a lesson (see below) without giving the required notice, it will be necessary for you to make up that payment prior to your next lesson.   

Cancellation: 

If you need to cancel a lesson you are required to give a full 3 days notice and your lesson money will be credited to you.

You will forfeit your lesson and your lesson fee if you fail to give 3 days cancellation notice.   

It may be possible to re-arrange a lesson instead of a cancellation. This will be at the discretion and availability of the teacher. Cancellations are counted where a lesson to be missed cannot be re-arranged. 

I, as the teacher, would not expect to cancel any lessons.  However, should this ever become necessary your lesson fee would be refunded to you.
